“Some opportunities come once in a life time, and The Rotunda is a perfect example of that statement. I was looking for a long time to live in downtown Norfolk. Although I have seen many new developments in the area as well as old restored houses, The Rotunda seems to satisfy my expectations, and even exceeds them. Not only the location, the history and the closeness to all conveniences of downtown Norfolk, but the uniqueness of the building caught my attention. There is no other building in the area of this geometrical shape and architectural style. I could probably live in many of present and future skyscrapers, new condominiums or newly restored houses, but there always be only one place like The Rotunda. Its uniqueness won my heart.”

"Some friends of mine told me about The Rotunda project, so I decided to stop by sales office on my own and take a look. As I walked up to the condo-turned-sales-office, I noticed through the open doors of the other Park Place condos how the edgy urban radiance really appealed to me. I didn't know it yet, but I would soon be hooked. When I walked into the sales office, the look and feel of the urban loft environment really seized me. It only took me a few minutes of talking with the warm, intriguing receptionist and the polite and knowledgeable on-site realtor before I knew that I wanted to live there. Within minutes of walking in, and before we exchanged the usual pleasantries, I blurted out, "I'll take one." To everyone's surprise, I cut the sales pitch short and was soon signing the initial documents to buy a loft at The Rotunda. After my subsequent visits to the sales loft and many phone conversations, my decision to invest in this adventurous project has become more and more exciting. I really just can't wait to live in downtown Norfolk, amidst all the excitement and energy of a bustling urban center with growth around every corner. Few really know what downtown Norfolk will look like in the next few years, but if the tangible vitality and lively animation on every street and sidewalk are any indication of the future, it will surely be a great place to live."

“Why the Rotunda? What other choice is there? It's a uniquely-shaped office building that's been around since 1965. And now this historic building is being converted to a condo complex, my home will truly be "one of kind." My agent and I looked for a condo for three years, but the day I walked in The Rotunda office I knew my search was over. I am from Chicago and I love urban style living, for me a convenient location is just as important as my floor plan. I love living in the city, walking to the library, dance classes, shopping and the theatre. And when there are festivals, my friends and I can walk to The Waterside and Town Point Park. I must admit I am also excited about the idea of being able to be at home and enjoy views of the fireworks from my window. The open floor plan of my one room loft is perfect. Historically, lofts were spaces used for living and working, which is perfect for me as a voice over talent and clothing designer. And the floor to ceiling windows are exactly what I was looking floor. This is my first home purchase and people said I would have to compromise, but I have found everything I wanted at The Rotunda. On top of that, the builders have been great to work with. I am so excited about my new life as a resident at The Rotunda, because when you purchase at The Rotunda, you are not only purchasing a unique condo floor plan with an amazing view you're purchasing a lifestyle.”

“Why do I love the Rotunda? Beautiful architecture is timeless… America has some of the most unique collections of architecture from around the world. And now the city of Norfolk greatly resembles that with it’s mirage of different and distinct collections of buildings. Nestled in this charming arrangement of symmetrical beauties is a feast for the eyes, the very distinct and very romantic Rotunda. |
This building truly captivates. A building this charming and sophisticated can’t help but make you stop and look. This majestic formation is truly a sight to see with its absolutely romantic views of neighboring cathedrals, charming city side walks and garden parks. And let’s not forget the walk ability factor for incredible strolls down to local restaurants and shops with family and friends. This is no ordinary condo building - this is an intimate 66 unit delight among some of the larger community-sized buildings. The Rotunda, because of its very size and enchanting layout will always have that sense of privacy and charm and a certain sense of exclusivity that can’t be found by any other building in this wonderful location. It’s only a stroll from the water and it has every modern day convenience at a moment’s distance, and all the romantic European charm I’ve been looking for in the US right here in our very own Norfolk. To me that is absolutely priceless. I look forward to meeting all my wonderful neighbors and watching this beautiful building as it unfolds.”

"I chose The Rotunda because I love the fact that it's so close to all that downtown Norfolk has to offer. It's central to anywhere I need to be, whether it's Suffolk, Chesapeake or Virginia Beach. Not only that, but it's a unique building...unlike any other. I'm thrilled to be part of Norfolk's newest and most exciting development!"

“"I drive past The Rotunda on my daily commute from the oceanfront to Colley Avenue nearly every day. One day, while stuck in traffic directly in front of the building, I had a "If You Lived Here You Would Be Home Already" epiphany. My next call was to Sherri Paris. Being from the Boston area, I have always wanted to get back to city living in the most unique building in Norfolk. Convenient to downtown... Great restaurants and shopping... Al within walking distance. Little did I know that the day I was stuck in traffic I was sitting directly in front of what will one day be my front door! I am looking forward to calling The Rotunda home."
